Małopolska. Regional Innovation Valleys
Malopolska Region is among the regions awarded the prestigious status of Regional Innovation Valley by the European Commission.

The title is confirmation that Malopolska is consistently implementing the assumptions of the Regional Innovation Strategy and can make an important substantive contribution in cooperation with other regions at the European level. Obtaining the status of the Regional Innovation Valley brings a number of benefits for Małopolska and its residents. First and foremost, it enables and facilitates access to additional European funds which can be allocated for the implementation of projects focusing on the development of technological and social innovation.
Małopolska is one of the most innovative regions in Poland, with highly qualified scientific and research staff and almost 25,000 students of technology and IT. We are one of two Polish regions counted among the so-called medium innovators at the European Union level.
