Earth seen from space. A unique ESA exhibition at Cogiteon

We encourage you to visit the Cogiteon Małopolska Science Centre, where until the end of March you can see a special exhibition "Earth Observations from Space", prepared by the European Space Agency!

The Earth is under constant observation by satellites, which constantly transmit images of oceans, fields, forests, and cities. This enormous amount of data we collect is completely changing our perception of the Earth and has a fundamental impact on how our future is shaped. How is this done? Where are images of the Earth used? What are they changing? Find the answers to these and other questions at Cogiteon!

Illuminated cubes allow visitors to immerse themselves in the world of plants, where satellite cameras act as a cosmic stethoscope, detecting the pulse of life on our planet. Elsewhere in the exhibition, through the lens of satellites, visitors can observe the melting of glaciers and the resulting climate change, as well as oceans, pirates, fires, floods, urban life, and other fascinating topics.
